Trackhouse Racing stars Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen rejoin JR Motorsports for a high-profile multi-race campaign in the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
JR Motorsports (JRM) has officially locked in an explosive driver lineup for its championship-caliber secondary program, securing NASCAR Cup Series stars Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen for select starts in the 2027 NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
The duo, who represent Trackhouse Racing in stock car racing's premier tier, will split driving duties behind the wheel of JRM’s flagship No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro.
The agreement continues a highly successful technical synergy between JRM and Trackhouse, allowing two of motorsports’ most versatile stars to compete for victories across superspeedways, short tracks, and road courses.
"Having Ross and Shane back in our No. 9 Chevrolet for 2027 gives our entire organization an incredible boost," team ownership noted in the official unveiling. "Both drivers bring elite racecraft, relentless aggression, and unmatched road-course mastery that elevates the team every time they strap in."
Chastain, known for his relentless wall-riding tenacity, and van Gisbergen, a three-time Supercars champion who quickly established himself as a dominant force on American road courses, will leverage the starts to sharpen their track time ahead of Cup Series weekends.
The multi-race alliance provides JR Motorsports with one of the most formidable weapon slates in secondary touring competition, setting up an early bookmark for the 2027 championship landscape.
