Your First Week in Baseball Dream: Five Things That Turn an Unknown Prospect Into a Star
New to Baseball Dream and not sure where to start? Create your player, train every day, sign your first contract and climb from A ball to PRO. Here are the five things that matter most in your first week.
When you arrive in Baseball Dream, all you have is an agent's license and an ambition: take a young player nobody has heard of and turn him into a name the whole league knows. These are the five things worth doing first. Follow them and your player will reach the big stage sooner than most.
1. Create your first player
Everything starts with Create Player. You choose his position, nationality, height and weight, and which side he bats and throws from, and you can give him a name in your own language too. Pitchers and position players are equally valuable, so build the player you most want to watch.
Once he exists, open the Tasks page. The beginner tasks walk you through the game one step at a time, and every one of them pays a reward.
2. Eight training sessions a day, your choice of focus
Each player gets eight training sessions a day. You decide whether today is about power, speed or control, but the results are never exactly the same twice, and now and then a stroke of luck lands when you least expect it.
Training takes energy. When he runs low, a can of Green Cow fills him back up. Steady daily training is the surest way to pull ahead, so come back every day.
3. Sign your first contract
Once your player has some ability, CPU teams start making offers. Salaries depend on his ability, age and popularity. Sign one and he becomes a professional, playing for his new team in every game it plays.
Think before you sign: leaving a CPU team takes a Leave Team Order, so walking away is not free. Compare a few offers first.
4. Climb from A ball to PRO
Every player starts in A. As he gets older he moves up to AA and then AAA automatically, and his abilities rise to the standard of each new level. The real summit is PRO, and not many players make it there.
Careers are finite. At 500 days a player retires. So there is no need to rush: plan each season with care and give him a career worth remembering.
5. More than an agent
Developing players is only the beginning. In Baseball Dream you can also become a manager, a general manager, or buy a team outright and run it as its owner, setting lineups, signing players and running the ballpark.
Daily logins, events and the Earn Dream Hot Dog page all give you Hot Dogs, the currency you will use most. Saving some up pays off.
